About Us
Awel Môr holiday apartments were bought and renovated in 2015 by siblings Rhiannon and Gareth Rees. It is a family business and we have a team of local staff to keep our holiday homes in Aberystwyth looking fabulous. We chose the name Awel Môr because it is Welsh for Sea Breeze.
Rhiannon lives in Aberystwyth and has a background in property management, she is currently a PhD candidate researching tourism and consumer behaviour at Swansea University. Rhiannon handles the day-to-day operations and marketing. Gareth lives in Carmarthenshire and is a Construction Manager. Gareth oversees business admin and is on hand remotely. Christine (our Mum) is our customer service expert and she answers most of the phone calls. She is often the first port of call if there are any problems.
We know how important it is to take time out and to be somewhere you can truly relax. We have created comfortable, stylish, modern holiday homes that you will leave feeling rejuvenated and well-rested.
